I think Edward Norton is a great pick. I mean, besides the fact that he's talented and has played a split personality character in almost every movie he's been in (think about it...), he's plenty nerdy enough to pull off Bruce Banner.
I'm pretty cool with that. It seems a bit below Edward Norton to be in a CG action fest, but at least they attracted a good actor. A lot better than the Prison break dude that was rumored for the part. I guess they're going for a late 60's Banner; that scrawny-nerdy, but kinda edgy-smart-ass-on-the-road guy. Works for me.
By the way, why didn't Marvel Films cast this well (This movie, Iron Man) on any of their other movies recently? It's weird that they woke up all of the sudden.
I would argue that Marvel Films has garnered some pretty high profile performers for most of its movies...but at the same time, Robert Downey Jr. and Edward Norton are on another level of talent than Hugh Jackman, Halle Barry, Ben Affleck, Nicolas Cage, et. al. - mainly, they are all pretty equally talented, but Norton and Downey Jr. don't go for shit shows like Swordfish, Cat Woman, Gigli, and...most of Nicolas Cage's movies.
